Our Growth Story

Calpro started as a private limited company on 4th January 1989. We started with the manufacturing of Calcium Propionate from Lab scale. Initially, we did a production of 5kg/day in the lab only which lead to greater demand in the market and gradually we started a plant in Sohna which is 60 km away from Delhi and follows GMP and a high level of automation to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients to local & International customers.

Gradually we got an automated plant for producing Calcium Propionate in 1990 with a capacity of 800MT/year which has now increased to 1200MT/year. We also manufacture Sodium Propionate apart from Calcium Propionate.

In 2010, we started to have global tie-ups with different companies who are pioneers in their respective product categories. We started the tie-ups with Meggle, Germany for different dairy ingredients, and then with Silvateam, Italy for Pectin that has a total turnover of approx 150 Million.

Achieving this pace, we now have giant partners like- Wilmar, Cargill, Silvateam, Volac, Wheyco, BGG, Polaris, Dubor and keep adding more principals to our club to meet the needs of customers.
